Thriller 'Live' has become our top stage musical, ever - surpassing even the Four Season's The Jersey Boys and Queen's We Will Rock You. The talent on show was amazing, and Michael Jackson's genius required 5 performers to cover his singing and dancing on stage - plus one more 12yr old to play his younger years.

1001 Places/Experiences to See or Savour After Remission #676

- Waterford, Ireland

The Vikings landed here first, before going inland and taking over most of the British Isles. The ship they used, no bigger than our bus, was recreated by the riverside. Waterford's claim to fame is its crystal making - still a craft sought after by many, including as trophies for golf tournaments.

The Titanic Memorial around the side of this Hall was a striking statue of a female personification of Fate holding a wreath over the head of a sailor. Also the actual rescue boat SS Nomadic for 1st class passengers, was on display near the riverside.
