(These Big 4 Hong Lim hawker stalls - Tuk Kee crayfish noodles, Tai Wah mee pok, Outram fried kway teow and Lee Kheong char siew - on the 2nd floor of this hawker centre are real national treasures. When some foreign gourmet expert from this week's "World Street Food Congress" noted that Singapore has the best street food in Asia, he must have been taken to these stalls as part of his assessment route.
