(Pyeongchang was the venue for last year's Winter Olympics, but this year, due to a lack of snow fall, the slopes were given an artificial snow treatment. Still, the whole area is chokeful of people, being the high season now for skiing. We didn't go for any lessons, deciding to take the cautious approach to skiing, having heard of so many injuries from this sport)
