- Kandy and Perahera parade, Sri Lanka
(The city of Kandy was abuzz with the Esala Perahera parade, including fire dancers and elephants, along its lake. We waited for it to start for over 2hrs, and it was worth the wait - a 10day celebration chokeful of locals and tourists alike. Dinner was a lovely curry dish from Devon Bakehouse - one to rememb)
