(Bolzano - this gateway into the Dolomites mountain here gave us some lovely views of this mountain from its city centre, esp when the sun was setting. The Old Town area is warm and welcoming, for a city steep with German accents and roadsigns. It is a little disorienting, this German bias coming from an Italian town, until you realise that it is a mere 10km away from the Austrian border, and a short cardrive away from Innsbruck too)
