- Blue Star Ferry to Mykonos, Piraeus, Greece
(Greece - aah yes! After a 12hr flight and a quick overnight stay in Piraeus, we were off on the Blue Star Ferry to our 1st island destination - Mykonos. Clear blue skies and the deep blue Mediterranean sea, both combine to give us a warm feeling that this will be a great getaway for us. We were very happy that despite a really tight schedule including all the Qatar political mess, we were able to get the ferry tickets, picked up by the hotel for an 8 euro fee, and hop on the early 7.30am ferry. And they don't fool around with their timing - off they go, right on the dot, these Greek ferries)
