- Panagia Paraportiani Church, Mykonos
(The locals tell us there are over 360 churches on this little island of Mykonos, enough for visits to one each day of the entire year. The one that stood out has to be this Panagia Paraportiani Church, a short stroll from Little Venice. With the fading orange, crimson light in the sky as the backdrop, you can see why this is a Greek wedding couples' favourite location. This church was built in 1425, but completed only 200 years later. It is actually 5 churches-in-one, with 4 churches holding up one on top of it. Fascinating, and more importantly for tourists like us, a feast for the eyes! Can you tell which shots are taken by the Samsung S7 and which by the Nikon 710D?)
