- Tsavo East National Park, Voi, Kenya
(Tsavo East National Park became our first NP here in Kenya - it is massive, some 13,000 sq km. If you compare that to Spore's 800sq km, you get the picture of its size. With an open top van, we cruised around the entire day, searching for all the big mammals. Sure enough, our 1st sighting of a tall giraffe just 2min into our game drive gave us an inkling of what other wild animals are here. Soon, elephants were showing up in many corners, then zebras were clogging up our tracks. Small but cute dik-diks, impalas, waterbucks, oryxs..and then cheetahs and hyenas. This is a wildlife reserve that is a stunner. )
