- Spanish Steps (Part 2), Rome
(This time, the Spanish Steps were partially blocked off for renovations, but it didn't take away the cool aura around it on this New Year's Eve night. Shops along the main street of Via Condotti were still opened till 7pm, including Gucci, which gave me a lovely birthday surprise - champagne and Gucci-embossed chocolate - after they saw my passport showing my DOB. Nice touch. Yes, life's good indeed, when you have a day like this for your birthday : wandering around the Trevi Fountain + Spanish Steps combo)
