- Tratorria Antica Capri, Naples
(Rarely have we come across a restaurant that we felt so emotionally uplifted after a meal. Tratorria Antica Capri was a real gem here in Naples. After we caught it on TV some 3 months before on The Lonely Planet with host, Samantha Brown, we told ourselves we must look for it when in Naples. Sure enough, on our last day, we found it - hiding in a quaint alleyway, off Via Toledo. Its 3 dishes were magnifico - especially that seafood-pasta wrapped in some dough, served in a black clay pot. We wanted to order all its dishes - they were so good, and so inexpensive - less than 40euros for 3 excellent dishes! As rightly stated in Lonely Planet, the owners were super friendly, and were genuinely happy to take a photo with us! Magnifico again!
PS: we have reached our 300th places & experiences to see or savour - we did it in 4years, when it was originally planned for 6years - viva! )
