- Spegazzini Glacier, Patagonia
(It's a real ice mountain - 130m high. Spegazzini Glacier takes the highest glacier crown here. In golf terms, that's a long par-3 hole to hit from the bottom near the lake to the top of the glacier - I wonder if anyone has tried it. It took a sizeable ship beside it to really show how high this glacier is. Look at the video clip below showing a big piece of Spegazzini falling off its wall. Our tour of this Los Glaciares National Park ended here - a fitting end to a cool, ice wonder. What a treasure for Argentina)
