- Celebrity Cruise to Alaska, Vancouver
(The big day has arrived - our Alaskan cruise on Celebrity Cruises, and boy, this ship is huge! To avoid queues and not knowing what to expect since this is our 1st multi-nights cruise with over 2000 people, we checked in at 10am for our 4.30pm departure. Sure enough, it turned out to be a smart decision bcoz the queues were long, even at 10am. But the thrill of the cruise soon kicked in, and we were off - with the city of Vancouver from the sea on my left, and on the right, cruising right under the iconic Lions Gate Bridge of Vancouver Bay. With our larger than expected oceanview stateroom, we were nicely tucked in, feeling a little like a showbiz celebrity - well, almost)
