1001 Places/Experiences to See or Savour #355 - Icy Strait Point, Alaska
1001 Places/Experiences to See or Savour After Remission #355
(Our 1st shore excursion is at Icy Strait Point, a private cruise ship docking facility. After 1.5days of non-stop sailing, we were itching to get out onto land at 2pm, and into the warm sunshine. This is an authentic coastal Alaskan small town, with lovely views of the sea and snow-tip mountains. We tucked into our Alaskan King crab - fresh, sweet and full bites. But goodness, isn't it a tad expensive at US$40 for 2 legs? One would have thought these crabs are everywhere here like ikan bilis, no?)
