- Mitsui Outlet Park, Sapporo
(Our visit to the Mitsui Outlet Park rounded out our trip to Sapporo here nicely. Waking up early to get to the bus station just beside the Sapporo train station was a wise choice because the hourly bus takes only 40 passengers at one go, leaving those next in queue another hour to stand in the cold. The outlet surprised us by being only 40minutes away, and compactly located - all big names were under the same roof, without having to walk in the open cold air. Our best buys came from the Under Armour unit, with big discounts to keep us happy on our last day here - under U$10 for some polo's!)
