- Sunset at Zambezi River Cruise, Victoria Falls
(An hour into our cruise, the mesmerising beauty of the Zambezi river revealed itself upriver. The setting sun brought shades of colours which we have not seen since our time at Positano, Italy - click here : Positano sunset. To add to this romantic atmosphere, a herd of hippos were jostling for space to be closer to their mates right beside our boat, as this gorgeous sunset was chased by the many boats soaking up its final rays of sunshine for the day. It was a special ending for the day - starting with the mighty Victoria Falls in the morning and ending here, upriver as the sun sets.
